Why Southside Academy?

We exist to foster hope in God within under-resourced areas of Rocky Mount by providing children with a remarkable, God-centered education.

We provide comprehensive support to our scholars year-round through our 7 Philosophies of Education.

Now accepting applications for rising K-2nd Graders for the 2023-2024 school year! Our admissions process is as follows:

Submit an application by February 1, 2023.
Attend your scheduled Family Interview and receive assistance applying for the NC Opportunity Scholarship.
If accepted, attend our New Family Orientation the summer prior to the start of the next school year.

Tuition is only $35/month per student
North Carolina Opportunity Scholarships and community partnerships are what help to make our school so affordable for families!
